Pittsburgh Wine Festival 2019 Benefits The PIND

This year, proceeds from the Pittsburgh Wine Festival go to support the research of the Pittsburgh Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases (PIND). The Festival will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2019 • 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Heinz Field (Heinz Field East & West Club Lounges, 100 Art Rooney Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212).

Today we are starting our double donate deal with the Pittsburgh Wine Festival tickets. Every ticket sold during 3/22 – 3/31 $20 will be donated to PIND instead of the regular $10. With the promo code: CURE we will donate an additional $25. Ticket prices are not increased, we are only increasing the amount donated.

Event Description:

The Pittsburgh Wine Festival returns for its 17th extraordinary year, Wednesday, May 1st, 2019, at Heinz Field. Join us as we celebrate the artistry of winemakers from around the globe with more than 500+ wines to choose from.

2019 will bring some big changes to the 17th iteration of the region’s most impressive wine event. The quality of wines is emphasized and this year will see the return of some of the world’s most valued brands.This year will also see the return of educational seminars and specialized tastings with in the Festival itself.

This year’s festival benefits The Pittsburgh Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases (PIND). PIND takes an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to the study of neurodegenerative diseases and their mechanisms, including Parkinson’s Disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington’s Disease, Stroke and Alzheimer’s Disease. Through basic, translational and clinical research, the PIND seeks to ultimately apply basic laboratory findings in the clinic, transforming the latest scientific findings into new treatments and applications for those affected by neurodegenerative diseases.

All guests must be over the age of 21 to attend this event.
